Having been promoted to a semi-professional league at the end of the 2017/18 season, Longridge Town FC were looking to upgrade their pitch side equipment as part of their development and called upon Net World Sports to help. As part of the FA's ground grading for step six clubs, ‘The Ridge’ installed perimeter fencing, turnstiles and a 100-seater grandstand to the Mike Riding Ground, but they still needed more equipment…

Requiring team shelters and a ball stop system before the start of their new semi-professional season, the Longridge Town FC committee began researching potential equipment providers online. After a lot of website searching and discussions, the team decided to choose Net World Sports as their supplier of two, eight-seater Milan Soccer Team Shelters and a 100m x 6m Ball Stop Net & Post System.

Just Like Wembley

Looking for a ball net system that didn’t require planning permission due to height, Longridge Town FC opted for our innovative, easy to install, ball stop system which is available in a range of heights and the ideal way to provide first class protection for spectators, nearby buildings and vehicles.

With a new pitch just installed too, they’ve also purchased Germination Sheets to encourage grass growth. With all of this extra equipment and top of the range facilities, the Mike Riding Ground is looking “just list Wembley” according to Club Secretary, Dave Walker.

“All the products we have purchased from Net World Sports have been of great quality and very good value for money, not to mention the customer service and post sales care which has been exceptional. They’re very supportive in their role of providing appropriate materials from the website and are always available for aftercare, offering the best suitable options for the customer.” Dave Walker, Club Secretary of Longridge Town FC

Proud Working Partnership

Longridge Town FC was so impressed with the products purchased that they put one of their ex-players, who is now a Junior Technical Director for a club in the Australian NPL (National Premier Leagues), in touch with us to get their equipment for the start of the season.

“We are proud to have a working partnership with Net World Sports and look forward to the future as we aim to progress higher up the leagues!”, comments Dave.

In support of our long-term equipment partnership, Longridge Town FC offered to put up pitch side advertising boards for us, right in between the state-of-the-art shelters.

Since providing the Milan Soccer Team Shelters and 100m x 6m Ball Stop Net & Post System, Longridge Town FC have gone on to become Hallmark Security League Division One North Champions and have been promoted to the Premier Division for the 2019/20 season where they will play in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup.
