We live in a rural
Review by Brian J. on 30 Jul 2026 review stating We live in a rural We live in a rural area, and my two teenage boys are getting really into golf, so the problem I had to solve was how to allow them to practice at home (no driving range/practice facilities within an hour's drive), without endangering windows, vehicles, and the general public driving down the road. There are some interesting stories about their own self-created attempts (and failures) at how to play golf in the yard.
My solution was a piece of this netting, 20' high, 24' long. Using a couple of large trees and some other rigging, I was able to secure the net in a way that had a bit of slack to catch balls being hit off of a good quality mat by everything from wedges to driver, at a range of about 12' from the net. It's stood up to thousands of balls over a couple of weeks without any issue at all.
Another bonus is that the green netting blends in very well in our yard - with trees and grass behind it you can't even notice the net from the road (about 100' from the road) so it has a great aesthetic too.
When hanging the net I got an up close look at the quality of the assembly and it looked really good. I had shopped around for netting and found a huge range of pricing. This was on the lower end of the scale for what I looked at and presents a great value. Shipping was fast. Very happy with my purchase - recommend the product and the company.
