MATERIALS:
- Goal frame & uprights manufactured from heavy duty 100mm x 110mm (3.9in x 4.3in) elliptical aluminium with reinforced ribs inside
- Uprights manufactured from heavy duty 75.5mm & 68.5mm aluminium
- Aluminium has a wall thickness of 3mm (0.12in), compared to competitor average of 2mm - 2.5mm (0.08in – 0.1in)
- D-Shaped rear net support elbows manufactured from 38mm x 2.2mm aluminium
- Goal posts have a tough, scratch resistant powder coated paint finish in optic white
- Fully welded corner joints throughout for maximum strength & durability
- Internal connector joints add strength and long lasting reliability
- Solid steel support plates are precision cut via laser for an exact fit
- Steel plates are zinc plated to protect against corrosion for long life
- High tensile stainless nuts, bolts and washers used throughout
- Nets are constructed from a 5mm (0.2in) OD braided HDPE twine, with a 50mm (2in) knotted mesh size in white
- 46cm (18.4”) deep aluminium ground sleeve sockets with metal lids (requires professional concreting into ground)
MISCELLANEOUS:
- Competition/league grade goal nets are specially tailored shaped to overall goalpost shape for best fit
- Twist & lock-style safety net clips securely attach goal nets into the goal’s internal channel
- Both the goals nets and safety net clips are UV treated to protect against sunlight
- Entire goal frame, net and all fixtures/fittings are weather/corrosion proof
- Goals will be delivered in flat pack form and will require assembly (clear step by step instructions provided)
- Goal conforms to I.S. EN 16579:2018+AC:2019 when correctly anchored
<h2>SOCKETED GAELIC (GAA) & HURLING GOALS – SINGLE OR PAIR</h2>
<p>Socketed inground golaposts for Gaelic (GAA), soccer & hurling. These heavy duty aluminum goals are the thickest, strongest and longest lasting in their field. Designed for major Gaelic/Hurling facilities and suitable for use on all pitch surfaces, such as grass, 3G/4G, Astro and concrete. Goals require little maintenance and are weather/corrosion proof. Complete with D-shaped net supports, competition grade 5mm HDPE nets, twist/lock nylon net clips and ground pegs. Goals must always be correctly anchored to prevent overturning. Goal anchors can be purchased online <strong><a href="/soccer/goal-anchors.html" title="Goal Anchors" target="_blank">here</a></strong>. It is essential to keep goals away from any overhanging power cables.</p>
<p><strong>Internal Counter Balance Weights:</strong></p>
<p>To safely anchor goals, internal counterbalance weights can be added inside the goal frame to prevent overturning:</p>

<li>The internal counterbalance weights simply slide inside the goal’s 100mm x 110mm bottom framework.</li>
<li>Manufactured from extra thick, UV stable HDPP special moulded to goal’s profile shape for a secure fit.</li>
<li>Weights require filling with sand, stone, metal or water (not included).</li>

<p><strong>Ground Socket Installation – Very Important! The 46cm (18.4”) deep ground sleeve sockets require professionally concreting into the ground via a qualified contractor to ensure goals are correctly anchored into the ground. </strong></p>
